Traditional craftsmanship. State-of-the-art technology.
Sensible and efficient repair means taking into account the principles of modern technology and preserving the roots of craftsmanship. Craftsmanship alone is no longer sufficient for the repair of today’s instrument systems – high technology is also required. In addition to technical and technological processes, the repair of surgical operation instruments also involves compliance with the guidelines, regulations, and laws specified by legislative bodies.
Each instrument is repaired by hand at Medworx, supported by state-of-the-art technology and verified by tests after repair. We repair not only general standard instruments, but also high-tech systems. For this purpose, we use industrial lasers to produce precise and highly resilient connections. We also employ CNC workstations for the production of special spare parts. The design takes place at the M-CAD workstation. We use computer-controlled grinding machines for trephines. Galvanisation takes place in an anti-corrosion line. Surface grinding machines provide active surface treatment. We generate medical compressed air at -70°C with 100% dehumidification.
